To mark the “World Elder Abuse Awareness Day” our school blooming buds took an oath about. To take care of elderly people in and outside the family” to raise the awareness about Elder abuse, violence neglect and exploitation.
International Yoga Day
“Yoga is the art work of awareness on the canvas of body, mind and soul”. “Yoga Helps you in Maintaining Balance in Life”.
In connection with International Yoga Day memorialization our X std learner Selvi.B.Ridhanya utter some words about “Importance of Yoga in our Life”.Our pupils splashed meditative exercises in the school assembly.
Rockcity Sahodaya Sports and Gaming Event
RockcitySahodaya conducted a meeting held at VIGNESH PUBLIC SCHOOL, TRICHY to schedule the academic session 2019-2020 Sports and Games event. The willingness of the School Principal was given higher priority. This meeting was attended by our Physical Education masterMr. K. Srinivasan.
Consumption of Water and Preparation of Natural Manure
Tiruchirappalli City Corporation Assistant Commissioner Mr. Prabhakaran, conducted awareness programme to our students.Mr. Prabhakaran, Asst. Commissioner of TrichyCity Corporation, instructed the students how to consume water economically and how to prepare natural manures at home by themselves using vegetables and fruits waste etc. He motivated with the slogan “Avoid Plastics and Save the Environment”.
Trichy City Corporation Expo
Our school IX std observers look around the Home Compost, Rain Water Harvesting and Solar Power Expo which was organized by Trichy City Corporation.
Fixation Meeting
Fixation of venues for the Sports and Games events to conduct by the Rockcity Sahodaya Sports Meet was discussed. Our School physical education teachers Mr. K.Srinivasan and Ms. P.Arulmozhi attended the meeting.
Capacity Buliding Programme
Our school teachers Mr. K.K.D. Sudarsanam, Mrs. R. Panbuselvi , Mrs. R.Manju and Mr. T. James attended the capacity building programme Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Chennai. This programme was about “Classroom Management”.They got the knowledge about how to tackle the ambiguous pupils in the class room and enrich the interactive session in the classroom.
Indian Express Signature Campaign
Indian Express Reporter organized the signature campaign to wish the Indian team for the success in the Semi final match of the World Cup Cricket Tournament. Our X standard viewers actively concur themselves in the campaign.
Dengue Awareness Programme
Dengue Fever Awareness Programme was conducted in our school assembly by Dr. Ponshanthi, Urban Primary Health Care, Madurai Road, Trichy-8. Our VII, IX and X pupils took a pledge in the assembly, “To keep the environment clean and healthy and recognize the symptoms of the dengue fever”.
Pocso Awareness
In the morning session, “Consciousness about Good touch and Bad touch” was given to the female children from VI standard to X standard.In the afternoon session, From VI standard to X standard students were motivated about the Education by theatrical videos in the auditorium.
Nutrition Day Celebration
Our School KG buds blasted the Nutrition Day in our campus. Blooming buds highlighted the nutritional values of the food.
Traffic Awareness Week
Our school observers from VIII and IX standards go over to see the Children Traffic Park at Old Collectorate, Trichy. Our pupils got aware about the Road safety and Girl child abusement which was conducted by Youth ExnoraInternational Trichy District.
Shuttle Tournament
Rockcity Sahodhaya conducted Shuttle Tournament for the students under 13 and 15 category at NR Public School, Perambalur. Our school shuttlers from VII and VIII standards compete in the tournament and got the participation certificate.
